The award ceremony for the “InnoICT Business Plan Competition” was successfully held on 29th Aug 2012, with the result of competition announced as well. The final winners are:
Champion
University: Queen Mary University of London
Team: UbiCloud
Business Plan: Make use of Ubiquitous computing and Cloud computing technologies to develop a brand new ecommerce model. UbiCard is a universal loyalty card system. Customers can earn points and redeem rewards from the merchants who join UbiCard platform by using QR code cards or mobile Apps.
First Runner Up
University: University of Macau
Team: ITU
Business Plan: TongueMove is a barrier-free tongue controller. For those who are unable to move or control their limbs, the tongue can help to control wheel-chair, computer input and other device control, etc.
Second Runner Up
University: University of Macau
Team: Edu-play-tor
Business Plan: It is about developing educational products in making use of different new technologies and it helps users learn with fun.

40 minutes include 20 minutes presentation, 10 minutes Q & A, 10 minutes judge internal discussion.

Competition Schedule
| April: | Commencing application on 20 of April 2012. |
| july: | Submission of Application on or before 6 of July 2012 and attend InnoICT Competition Workshop in Galaxy hotel at 3:00 p.m. on 10 of July. |
| August: | Submission of Business Plans on or before 1 of August 2012.
11 August: Judges elect finalists. 17 August: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Presentation of Business Plans and proof of concept by finalists to Judges. 8:00 p.m. - Award ceremony during which result will be announced. |
