Organized by Macau New Technologies Incubator Centre (Manetic) and Tertiary Education Services Office, the InnoICT Business Plan Competition 2012 Press Conference was held at Manetic’s seminar room on 16 May 2012.

Ms. Stephanie Io, senior technician of Tertiary Education Services Office, said that this year’s competition is open to Macau students from tertiary education institutions from all over the world. Mr. Gilbert Chan, executive director of Manetic said that in order to encourage innovations among students and to enhance development of information and communication technologies, he encouraged students to take part in this competition to realize their business plans and dreams. The winning teams of InnoICT Business Plan Competition 2011 shared as well at the press release their experienced in the competition and their new business.

The champion will be awarded a cash prize of $30,000 and a business start-up funding of $100,000. The first runner up will be receiving a cash prize of $18,000 and the second runner up, $12,000. For winning teams, Manetic will also be offering business incubation support and solutions for their start-ups, in order to provide them with opportunities, business lining and exposures.

The registration ends on 6 July. Participating teams should submit their business proposal before 17:00, 1 August and the finals will be taken place on 18 August.
